Swan was adopted Saturday, February 26, 2022!
Momma Swan was expecting when she was admitted to Devore Shelter in September of 2020. On September 11th, she gave birth to two adorable little kittens while awaiting rescue. Little did she know their birthday was also the entire family’s “Gotcha Day.” Even though Swan and her kittens, Magpie and Sandpiper, spent their first few hours at Devore Shelter, they’ve since spent their days in warm, safe and loving foster home where they’ve wanted for nothing.
Swan is a sleek and lovely tuxie with dainty white toes. She becomes so excited about the prospect of being pet that she’ll make biscuits while standing – and it appears as though she’s dancing! She’s not afraid to let her humans know what she wants when she wants it. She confidently meows for attention and loves nothing more to be picked up and held. She’s been an amazing mom to her two kittens but, now that they’re grown and ready for forever homes of their own, she’s ready to be someone’s baby. She adores humans of all ages.
Swan had been adopted previously but did not get along with the other kitty in the home. We feel that Swan would do best in a home where she would be the queen of the castle, an only cat.
Swan’s perfect person or family will need to provide laps for her to drape herself across, loving arms to cuddle her and gentle hands willing to pet her often. Chin scratches are also a must!
