Sandpiper was adopted December 27, 2020!
Momma Swan was expecting when she was admitted to Devore Shelter in September of 2020. On September 11th, she gave birth to two adorable little kittens while awaiting rescue. Little did she know their birthday was also the entire family’s “Gotcha Day.” Even though Sandpiper and his sister, Magpie, spent their first few hours at Devore Shelter, along with their wonderful mom, they’ve grown up in a warm, safe and loving foster home ever since.
Sandpiper is a fun, playful little tabby boy whose favorite game is pouncing on his sister. He romps around with anyone who is down for a good time – including a very senior foster kitty, Layna! What can we say? Some are born with natural charm and charisma – and Sandpiper is a charmer like no other. Who could deny this cute little guy a rambunctious game of hide and seek? Or strings! He loves them. When he’s all tuckered out and ready for a nap, he’ll curl up with the nearest seated human – doesn’t matter how old or young – for snuggles and pets.
Sandpiper’s favorite playmate is his sister and partner in crime, Magpie – but he enjoys the company of all cats, regardless of age, and would be more than happy to make new kitty friends. However, if you are looking for a compatible pair, his sister Magpie would be happy to come along. Either solo or with his sister, Sandpiper is one amazing little dude who’ll bring joy and laughter to any home. Fill out an adoption application for Sandpiper today!
Sandpiper will be ready for his new forever home in late December.
