Yadana was adopted August 23, 2023!
My name is Yadana, which means ‘precious gem’ in Burmese, and I think that is the perfect moniker for me! I am such an extraordinary girl who has had a bit of a tough road to get to where I am now, but I know when I find my forever family, it will all have been worth it! You see, I was at the shelter with my three tuxedo kittens – Munsey, Danti, and Danby. While there, we contracted the shelter URI and became extremely ill. The lovely people at Kitty Devore Rescue scooped us up and immediately took us to the vet for treatment. Fortunately, My three babies did not suffer as much as me and could go straight into foster with some medicine. I remained hospitalized for an entire month!
But recover I did, and as you can tell, I have had a full glow up into a gorgeous lanky Siamese lay with beautiful blue eyes and a sassy personality. I’ve endured abandonment, life on the street, managing to protect my little ones all the while, and endured and recovered from a taxing kitty cold. Now it’s my time to shine! My perfect home would not include other kitties. I want to be the apple of everyone’s eye and the star of the show. I crave attention from humans and adore being doted on and pet. I love love love people and could spend all day giving head butts and cheek rubs.
