Margery and Astridd were adopted together on Sunday, November 14, 2021!
Margery is a crazy affectionate, paws-on kind of cat. If she weren’t spayed, you’d swear she was in heat because there’s nothing Margery loves more than to position herself where she’s impossible to ignore. She’ll run over to you, flop over for pets, and head rubs, and butt in if you’re petting someone else, even her own kittens!
She was a fantastic mom, and the affection for humans gene was definitely passed on. After being stuck in the shelter for almost a month and with their time running out, 2-year-old Margery and her seven infant kittens – Olyvia, Astridd, Etta, Walter, Billy Bell, Jonesy, and Lincoln Lee – were finally rescued in May 2021. Now, with all vetting complete, the entire family is ready to find their forever homes.
Margery and her daughter, Astridd, have a special bond with one another. For that reason, we feel their long-term happiness is contingent on them being adopted together into the same home. We will only consider applications willing to commit to a long-term relationship with both of these lovely ladies.
