Chalupa was adopted Sunday, February 4, 2024!
Not all Kitty Devore Rescue kittens endure time at Devore Animal Shelter while awaiting adoption or rescue. Some kitties find their way to our amazing foster parents like heat-seeking missiles targeting those with loving hearts and willing to provide them the care they so desperately need. Such was the case with the Las Botanas kittens – Chalupa, Gordita, Taco, and Queso. Their mother, a stray living on the streets of Montclair, brought her four kittens in tow, all estimated to have been born in September 2023, to the home of a KD foster mom who, of course, rounded up the little family and took them into her care. While Mom proved to be a bit wild, her kittens were not, and we knew we could find all of them excellent homes.
One of two sisters and two brothers, Chalupa, a delightful black domestic short-haired kitten with a heart as abundant and filled with goodness as her namesake, enchants everyone she meets. This little feline charmer is the epitome of sweetness and gentleness. While initially shy, Chalupa‘s heart quickly warms up to the sound of shaken treats and the sight of a playful toy. She adores interactive playtime and boasts a hearty enthusiasm for games. She may appear shy initially, but Chalupa is a social butterfly in disguise, effortlessly getting along with cats, dogs, and children. Her adaptability and friendly nature make her the perfect addition to any loving family.
If you’re looking for a furry treat who’s both tender and playful, then Chalupa is the purr-fect match for you. Embrace the irresistible charm of this little black beauty, and let your home be infused with the love and warmth that Chalupa brings. Apply to adopt her today!
