Cecliy was adopted Friday, March 10, 2023!
Meet Cecily! No sooner had Cecily, also known as CeCe, celebrated her second birthday when her original owner decided to surrender her to a rescue in October 2019. Kitty Devore Rescue welcomed this bright, beautiful, front-declawed girl into our care with open arms.
Thankfully, CeCe adapts well to new people and environments. She expresses her friendly nature quickly and effortlessly to all who cross her path, eager to make new friends. Always polite, she petitions her humans for affectionate pets and reciprocates with nuzzles and melodic meows. CeCe appreciates tidiness and demonstrates perfect mealtime and kitty box manners. Despite the lack of front claws, she’s still an avid biscuit-maker when happy and relaxed. Yet, when she feels threatened or fearful, she resorts to the only means available to convey her distress – nipping. Her toothful pecks aren’t aggressive or mean-spirited. They are CeCe‘s way of letting humans know she needs a little space.
Cecily would thrive best in a home that matches her calm demeanor. She’s amiable with other kitties and dogs but would also be fine on her own. This low-maintenance girl would likely best enjoy the company of adults and teen children who know how to handle cats. So, if you’re seeking a sweet and easygoing kitty to be your new feline friend, fill out an adoption application for CeCe today!
