Phebe was adopted May 25, 2023!
Meet Phebe, a beautiful, graceful little house panther. During her time at Devore Shelter from late December 2022 to early January 2023, shelter staff assessed her age at around a year old. Still, she was so kittenish that her foster parents determined she may have been even younger, and the vet who examined her after her rescue confirmed that she was probably 8 or 9 months old at that time.
Like most kittens, Phebe amuses herself endlessly by chasing her toys, bouncing off walls, and whirling through the house like a cyclone. Although most of her activity commences on ground level, fair warning – Phebe excels at climbing and has yet to encounter a countertop she can’t scale. Then, she’ll stretch and curl up for a well-deserved nap when she finally exhausts herself. Outgoing, affectionate, and gregarious, Phebe relishes time spent with hands-on and demonstrative humans and rough-and-tumble fellow felines. So much so that we strongly encourage only those with other kitties in their home apply to adopt her. Phebe needs a home with at least one friend matching her energy level to ensure her optimal well-being.
If you’re a high-energy human seeking a feline dynamo, Phebe may be your perfect match! Fill out an adoption application for her today!
