Mustardseed and her sister, Cobweb, were adopted together on August 9, 2020!
Meet Mustardseed! She was rescued from Devore shelter in late April with her momma and three sisters when she was just 4.5 weeks old! The whole family of little ladies was named for faeries in Shakespearean literature and Irish folklore. As her name suggests, Mustardseed was a little spicy at first, skeptical and hissy toward anyone who entered the family’s faerie land. But she’s learned that humans aren’t a threat to her and now she welcomes a belly rub and is quick to purr when she uses her magical ways to get some attention from her humans!
Mustardseed’s favorite things ever are to charm her humans into playing with her wand toy for hours on end and to tumble around with her sister, Cobweb. They are good buddies, so they’d be quite happy to be adopted together, though it’s not required.
If Mustardseed isn’t adopted with Cobweb, she must go to a home with another playful kitty that she can befriend. She tolerates the dog in her foster home but would probably be happiest without a pup to share her space with unless that pup is very respectful toward kitties. While she has definitely learned to love interaction from the human world, she can easily spook, so it might take a little longer for her to relax around new people or the higher energy that comes with younger kids. But once she trusts you, she loves a good head scratch or snuggle and will thank you with an adorable purr!
Mustardseed has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FIV and FeLV so this little sprite is ready to find a forever home where she can cast her charms and magic about! Are you ready to be enchanted by this wee faerie’s ways? Apply to adopt her (and Cobweb if you’d like) today!
