Floyd was adopted Thursday, October 6, 2022!
Someone admitted this little agouti foundling to the care of Devore Shelter in July 2022 when he was approximately three months old. He was alone, without his mom or siblings, but he hoped someone would adopt him. Yet people passed over plain little Floyd, despite his charming, persistent personality. Then he contracted a kitty cold, putting him in jeopardy at the shelter by numbering his days. We knew we had to act fast to save his life. And what a wonderful save he was!
Floyd, Welsh for “gray-haired,” could not be more affectionate if he tried. A firm believer in the curative powers of love, this little guy’s heart flutters for just about everyone – humans, other cats, and even dogs. He loves with his whole self, purring almost ceaselessly as he nuzzles, kneads, and burrows into your arms should you pick him up. If you’re seeking a lap cat, a snuggle buddy, or a fellow couch potato to mash with, look no further than Floyd. Watch your noses, though! Floyd’s a nose nibbler, and no nose – human, feline, canine, or otherwise – is safe from his enthusiastic kisses.
We at KD believe there’s a perfect match for every kitty. Some kitties are independent and standoffish, and some people love that about them. But then there are kitties like Floyd who want nothing more than to be with his people at every turn. If you think you’re the ideal match for Floyd, what are you waiting for?
