Dian Fossey was adopted February 17, 2022!
The KD Team rescued Dian Fossey and her five kittens from Devore Animal Shelter in May of 2021. Their foster mom named each member of this little family after an amazing animal hero of the last century. One by one, each of Dian‘s adorable kittens found extraordinary homes later in the year. Dian, estimated to be approximately one year old at the time of rescue, was young to be a mother. Her foster mom felt she could benefit from some “me time” first so we’d be able to see her true personality shine through.
It’s no secret that Dian is gorgeous with her all-white coat and smoldering glances. We found that her loving nature wasn’t something she lavished solely upon her children. Dian is generous with her care and affection. She seeks out and basks in human attention, hoping for pets and words of endearment. Speak to her! She’ll give you her undivided attention when you do. Because she’s still a young lady, she’s retained some of her kitten energy. She is up for chasing strings, feathers, and kitty toys with exuberant enthusiasm.
