Brioche and her brother, Naan, were adopted September 6, 2020!
Brioche is a young, female orange tabby kitten – and if you know anything about orange tabbies, you know only about 10% of them are girls. While not exactly rare, female gingers are far less prolific than males. Brioche, came to Devore Shelter with her mom, Tobie, and siblings at just 3 weeks old in May of 2020. She was the largest kitten of the bunch, despite not being very food motivated. She has that unmistakable orange tabby gregariousness and confidence, making her the head explorer scout and leader of her kitty social group.
Brioche is a happy, confident, kitten who enjoys playing and spending time with people. Her favorite activity is to run up and down the stairs chasing her brother, Naan. She would do best in a home with another cat for to play with, especially if that other cat was her brother.
Rambunctious and spirited, she loves wrestling both other kitties and with her toys. She is also happy to sit with her foster family while they read and she’s always up for taking a nap. With a good scratch to the base of her tail she starts purring instantly.
Brioche and her brother, Naan, are bonded siblings. Being a little more timid and less adventurous than his sister, Naan looks to her for support. She, in turn, helps him build confidence in situations where he’s more likely to shy away and hide. For this reason, we feel they’re a great team and should be adopted together for their overall well-being.
