Ace was adopted Sunday, June 16, 2024!
Ace and his three siblings – Jannie, Bootz, and Charles “Charlie” Dickens – were an unexpected surprise. Rosy, their mother, patiently awaited rescue or adoption at Devore Animal Shelter in late July 2023. After being passed over time and again, by early August, her time was running out. The Kitty Devore Rescue team knew we couldn’t let anything bad happen to her, so we swooped in just in the nick of time and rescued her to safety. Understandably, her time in the shelter left her terrified, and even though she was safe in a wonderful foster home, she needed time to settle in and gain a sense of trust in her doting guardians. On her first visit to the vet for a routine exam, we learned we didn’t just save one beautiful kitty. Rosy had little Rosebuds on the way!
Ace and his siblings were born in their warm, loving foster home on September 6, 2023. All of Rosy’s babies have gray coats, just like their mom. However, Ace is impossible to miss because he sports two white booties on his back legs and two stylish half-booties on his front. He’s also the most vocal of the bunch, so even if you missed him initially, he’d redirect your attention immediately. Ace became quite a conversationalist and loves to shoot the breeze with his humans. Returning home from a day at the office? He’ll be the first to rush to greet you with a chipper meow or chirp. It’s his way of asking about your day. He’s also a magnificent purr machine, especially if you give him some head and chin scratches. Seeking a lap cat? Again, Ace is aces for the task. Versatile, Ace would do well as an only cat, but he’s also more than capable of joining your kitty crew.
Ace is the best, friendly as can be, and one of the most affectionate kitties around. If you’re seeking an outgoing kitty who thrives on human interaction, Ace is your best bet! Apply to adopt this amazing little guy today!
