I started my life outside, in a neighborhood of kitty friendly people. There was even one house with a giant dog who always shared her food with me when I was hungry. Earlier this year I became pregnant with my very first litter – Kira Nerys, Benjamin Sisko and Chief O’Brien – and some very kind people brought me to my foster mom, just in time to give birth in a safe warm place. Now I get to live indoors, and I love it!
My favorite game is “run and hide” when I get really wound up. I’ll dart out to play and jump around, and then I’ll hide and spy because it’s fun. My favorite toys are ones on a stick or string because I really like when people play with me. If you give me catnip, I go bonkers; I just love catnip! I can be timid at first, but if you give me a chance to get to know you, you’ll see how silly, playful, curious, and loving I am.
I grew up around lots of animals, including other cats, dogs, and my giant dog friend who shared food with me. I really like other animals, and am always interested in saying hello to them. I like all of my foster mom’s cats, even though one of them doesn’t like me back, because of this, I would do well in a house with other pets. Loud noises and sudden movements can spook me, so I probably wouldn’t be happy living with kids. I can sometimes play a little rough, but I’ve never been mean or aggressive, I’m still just learning how to be someone’s cat! Once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m equal parts playful and affectionate.
