Taffy is a 2 year old buff/cream tabby boy with wonderfully soft fur and a quietly sweet disposition. In general Taffy is very quiet with some rushes of energy which he gets out by playing with his toys or foster friends! He does well with more dominant cats who lay out the boundaries for him but could also do well as someone’s one and only–if they can give him free roam of a home and can dedicate some time to sitting with him and loving on him each day. He doesn’t much like being held but when he’s feeling especially lovey he let’s you pick him up like a baby! Typically he will saunter on up to you and either curl up on or near your lap.
The most important thing for Taffy is having a quiet space to be loved gently and in ways he responds well too; for this reason it doesn’t seem like Taffy is a good match for families with young energetic children. He loves head, chin, and bum scratches but absolutely does not like his belly touched, even though he’ll roll over and show it when you’re about to feed him or when he first sees you in the morning! If you’re looking for a quiet, gentle, calm soul to share your space and life with then Taffy might be your guy!!
