Momma Shirla and her two boys, Shadd and Shaydon, were admitted to Devore Shelter in June of 2018. The boys were about 6 weeks old at the time. By a strange bureaucratic twist of fate, the little family was later transferred to Riverside Shelter in early July. Although the KD Team rescues exclusively from Devore Shelter, we considered these kitties “ours” and worked to get them safely out of Riverside and into Kitty Devore foster care – and we did!
Shadd is an adorable orange tabby boy with a face like sunshine – bright, warm and cheerful. Like all kittens, he loves to romp and horse around with his brother and other kitties in his foster home. He gets along well with everyone – which isn’t surprising as orange tabbies are known for their outgoing and gregarious dispositions. Not only does he endear himself to young and old cats alike, but he also gets along well with cat-friendly dogs. He shares his foster home with two cat-loving pit bulls. But most of all, Shadd loves attention from humans – and treats. He really, really loves treats. He’s actually quite a sucker for treats.
Shadd was adopted on October 21, 2018!
