Sergei was adopted on October 23, 2021!
Hi, I’m Sergei nice to make your acquaintance. I am a handsome 4 year old, neutered, white and black fluffy shorthair kitty. I was adopted as a kitten with my brother Fedorov, however, we were returned to our foster home over year later. Our adopter moved and felt he could no longer keep us safe through no fault of ours. I would prefer to be your one and only kitty. I get along great with the dogs in my foster home, so a doggy sibling or three is fine with me.
So to summarize, I am not a fan of other cats, I do like dogs but guess what? I L.O.V.E. people! I am such an affectionate boy with my foster mom and dad. I just can’t seems to get enough love and petting. I like to follow them around the house and strategically place myself in their eye line. I’ll hop from cat tree, to cat post to ottoman etc., just to make sure they can see me. If that doesn’t work then I will stand on my two back legs and push my head into their dangling hands until they get the point purring the whole time. If even that doesn’t work I will reach out and tap their arms with a paw and give them my best sad eyes. My foster mom says I am such a goof. In my first home my adopter had grand kids who would come visit and I did great with them. I love toys, treats and catnip too. I am great at using my scratching posts and cardboard flats. I am already litter box trained, microchipped and up to date on my vaccines.
One thing about me that you should know – in 2019, I had to go to the hospital because I had a blocked urethra and could not potty properly. This is a serious condition and, if left untreated, could have been fatal. Thankfully, my rescue got me the help I needed and now I’m doing great! But I do have to eat special prescription diet food to ensure it doesn’t happen to me again. Although I am healthy in every single way again, my adopters will need to continue to feed me my special diet so I stay that way.
I am ready for you to fill out an application and come to meet me. I know we will be fast friends!
