Scottie Ann was born on May 10, 2016. It was the same day she and her mom were left at the shelter. Thankfully, they were rescued not long thereafter. Scottie Ann has spent her life so far in KD foster care. She’s a smart young lady and, as is the case with most tortoiseshell kitties, has her fair share of “tortitude”. She loves to play with everyone from other kittens to the adult cats. No one intimidates her. She has a habit of placing herself in the middle of everything to make sure she’s not missing anything. No cat toy is not swatted, no open cupboard remains unexplored and no kitty gym is too high for Miss Scottie Ann. Scottie would do well with and probably prefer to be with other cats. She plays with her fellow foster kittens, but when it’s time to power nap, she usually chooses one of the big boys.
But, as actively curious and playful as she may be, she also loves to snuggle – but only on her terms. She’ll lay right against you when she’s ready or on the pillow by your head.
In order to receive her love and trust, one must understand and respect tortitude. Any cat can be a cat, but it takes one very special kitty to be a tortie!
Scottie Ann was adopted July 29, 2018!
