Scarlette was adopted February 6, 2021!
Momma Jean Gray and her four Marvel Girls – Tigrra, Scarlette, Elektra and Rogue – were accepted into Kitty Devore Rescue foster care in September of 2020. We’d received a message from a rescue ally about this family, asking us to consider them as KD kitties so they might avoid being surrendered to the shelter. The kittens were all healthy babies, just four weeks old at the time and, thankfully, we had a foster parent who had space to take them in.
Scarlette is somewhat shy and is startled by loud noises and bustling activity. Although she’s not as outgoing as some of her sisters, she’s incredibly sweet and can be enticed into quiet play time with fun toys and yummy treats. She is a bit cautious of other cats; never certain if they’re do-gooders like she and her sisters are or menacing villains who might start trouble. Like her sisters, she’s grown up around small children and dogs and is at relatively at ease with both once she’s established a sense of trust with them. She’d adapt best in a low key and quiet home with a family who is patient and kind to her.
