Pouncival was adopted June 4, 2020!
Are you looking for a unique and outgoing kitty? Pouncival is a dashing boy with the face of an oriental shorthair and the tail of a bobcat. He is long and slender with long hind legs. He is an avid climber and often hangs out at the top of the cat tree. He loves lengthy conversations about cat food and is quite demanding about getting attention. However, at the end of the day he will snuggle under the blankets, watch some Netflix and fall asleep next to you.
This loving gentleman was estimated to be 8 years young when he was rescued in October of 2018. It was clear he had been loved by humans previously as he is a kitty with a loving personalty and affinity toward people. However, it was also evident to us that he’d not received the level of care he should have. Since his rescue, Pouncival has undergone dental surgery and most of his teeth were removed – but this doesn’t deter him from enjoying breakfast, lunch and dinner with great enthusiasm! We discovered he is also FIV positive. For those unfamiliar with this condition, we invite you to learn more about FIV – because it is not a big deal. FIV kitties are often passed up because the condition is misunderstood. Pouncival is docile toward other kitties and, in fact, is easily picked on so, for that reason, he currently shares his foster home space with his FIV buddy, Sligh.
