Meet Oreo Cookie! Oreo is a beauty with long black and white fur and jewel green eyes. This sweet lady was estimated to be 6 years old when she was rescued from a former rescue partner rescue group who was shutting its doors of 2019.
Oreo Cookie has the quiet youth of a younger kitty. Occasionally she likes to hide in the closet and snooze there but mostly she would like to sleep next to you or lay on your lap while you pet her. She’s quite the conversationalist at night when she is ready for more food and purrs even before the petting has started. Oreo Cookie is quite the cuddle-cat. When she wants to be pet she’ll let you know by putting her paw on your hand, preemptively purring, or sometimes laying on her back and softly wrapping her paw around your arm. Although she sometimes likes to play with toys she won’t be running around for more than a few minutes each day – she much prefers to cuddle humans and snooze on the couch. Oreo would love to sleep on your bed if you let her and often will follow you to each room you go to just to be close to you! She would probably prefer being the only cat. Her jealous streak flares when the other foster kitty in her foster home receives even the tiniest bit more attention than she does.
