Moku is a very handsome, long-haired fellow who needs a special family to see just how amazing he is! As an older gentleman with special needs, Moku has learned to adapt to his surroundings and enjoy life with fewer senses than most. Moku is deaf, mostly blind, his depth perception is a bit limited, and he is FIV+. But he doesn’t let these physical differences stop him from being a super fun and outgoing guy! It might take him a bit longer to get where he’s going, but he’ll still get there! And while he may startle a bit when you go to pet or pick him up, it’s just because he didn’t see you coming! Rest assured, he thoroughly enjoys receiving and giving his humans affection! In fact, a good ol’ belly rub while he’s stretched out for a nap will put him in nirvana!
Moku is also a talker – he doesn’t meow, but he has an adorable trilling noise he makes, especially when he walks. We think it helps him identify objects in his path almost like a bat uses sonar. Either way, it just amplifies his adorableness! And don’t worry about him being able to get around. Just like with humans, he’ll map out his surroundings in no time at all! Moku also displays exemplary litter box etiquette each and every time. Because he can’t hear other kitties or see them in advance, and tends to invade personal space unintentionally, Moku would do best in a household with relaxed and laid back kitties who won’t be bothered by his innocent wanderings.
Moku has been adopted!
