Sweet Maybelline and her single kitten were rescued from Devore Shelter in December of 2016. Maybelline was approximately two years old at the time; her little one was just shy of 2 months old. Both were taken into Kitty Devore Rescue’s foster care program and have been cared for by the same foster mom ever since.
Maybelline is very playful with her daughter, BabyG, who is no longer a kitten. This indicates there’s a possibility she may be comfortable around other cats if adopted into a multi-cat household. Maybelline has a pleasant disposition and likes her beautiful soft coat stroked as well as having her neck and ears rubbed. She loves to be talked to but would rather not be handled too much. She is a bit shy around strangers and children, but that could be because she hasn’t had that much exposure.
She loves looking out the window and is mesmerized with birds that fly around and feed in the backyard. Maybelline is very independent — not too needy or whiny and is very low maintenance. She would be the perfect pet for someone, or a family, that want unconditional love and companionship.
