This petite moo-cow kitty is Marla! She is about 3 years old and was rescued from a high-kill shelter right before she was set to be euthanized for being “aggressive”. In reality, she is one of the most gentle kitties I have ever come across. She is fearful in most situations, and will hide and curl up into a little ball, but she never expresses her fear with claws, biting, or any other malicious kind of behavior EVER. Instead, she will let you get her from her safe hiding place, put her on your lap or your shoulder and watch TV with you and your kitties while you brush her. She loves to be brushed and to get bum scratches! About 5 minutes into brushing she will start her vibrant purring and will nuzzle you like a best kitty friend. You will also get belly access if your bum scratches prove worthy, and that’s when you’ll know she really loves you.
This sweetheart was trapped on an abandoned property, and it is unknown how long she had been fending for herself, or what her cat life was like before Kitty Devore rescued her, but what I can tell you is that with a little patience, reassurance, and compassionate work, Marla will be the most loving addition to any household, especially one with a bunch of kitty friends–she LOVES all kitties!
