Luka was one of 5 adorable kittens born to Momma Faerie-Misha. All born on April 11, 2018, Luka and his siblings were fortunate: they never saw the inside of a shelter as their mom had been rescued prior to their birth. All five siblings had grown up in the safety and security of their loving foster. However, when they turned 8 weeks old, tragedy struck. Luka and his brother and sisters got very sick. They had to be hospitalized and, in the end, only Luka survived. While he misses his siblings terribly, he’s also very happy to be alive and has a joyful spirit unlike any other kitten we’ve seen.
Luka’s foster mom describes him as a handsome little orange boy who loves to explore. He is a low key, mild-mannered kitten who enjoys quiet time with others – both people and kitties, alike. He’ll be the first to snuggle up with you on the couch as you settle in to watch TV. Does he like to play, too, you ask? You bet! He attacks his claw post with passion only a little tiger could have.
Luka still has aspects of his vetting to complete before he’ll be ready to be officially adoptable. We expect he’ll be ready to go to his new forever home in mid to late August.
