JJay is a super soft tuxedo girl or “Tuxie” cat. JJay adores playing with toys both on her own and interactively with people. JJay is a true people cat! She loves to be wherever her foster mom is in the house. In fact, she has earned the nickname “Houdini” because she seems to magically appear by her foster mom’s side. JJay is a big time cuddle bug too. She loves being petted and has a lovely purr. JJay gets along great with her sister Goldfish. They wrestle and snuggle with each other. However, the girls prefer spending time with people to other cats. If JJay has to share her human, she would prefer it be with her sister Goldfish. If you are looking for a fun, loving and active pair, then JJay and Goldie may be what your home is missing. However, they do not need to be adopted together.
JJay and her two sisters had a rough start in life and ended up at a high kill shelter. The rescue was told that the girls had been put to sleep. A wonderful member of Kitty Devore Rescue was there that day and happened to learn that the girls were miraculously still alive! He got them to safety and on to their foster mom. One sister has been adopted and now JJay and Goldie are hoping for their happily ever after either together or separately.
Pictures do not show JJay’s effervescent personality — come play with her and get to know this truly special little lady and meet Goldfish too!
JJay was adopted on January 28, 2018!
