Isabel was adopted October 24, 2020!
Meet Isabel! This lovely little tortoiseshell sweetheart was estimated to be 5 years old when she was rescued from a former rescue partner rescue group who was shutting its doors of 2019. She, along with over 20 other kitties, was embraced into Kitty Devore Rescue’s foster care program so that they’d be able to find their forever homes.
After entering our foster care, Isabel underwent surgery to address a hematoma that had developed in her ear. Hematomas develop when blood vessels are damaged and blood seeps into an area of the body due to broken capillaries and forms a pillow-like pocket, similar to a large blister. They can be quite heavy, occasionally painful and quite uncomfortable. The result post-surgery for an ear hematoma is that the ear will flop and never stand straight again. Such was the case with Isabel but we still think she’s quite cute and her floppy ear enables her to stand out in a crowd. She still retains her gentle and affectionate nature and she’s still as talkative as ever. Isabel is very big on tiny kisses and loving nuzzles. While not bold as some torties, she’s also not shy and has an over-abundance of love to give.
This beautiful lady has waited a long time for her happily ever after and we think she’s quite a catch. Let yourself be caught by Isabel and fill out an adoption application for her today!
