Huckle was adopted on May 15, 2020!
Huckle, along with his brother, Logan, are known as the Berry Brothers. He can be a little shy when meeting new people but don’t let his initial reticent demeanor fool you – Huck is a lover. We’re not kidding! He truly wants your love, your scratches and your pets and is looking for a forever home where he can give all the love he’s got and where he will receive just as much love in return.
Huck and his siblings were just tiny babies when his family was rescued from Devore Shelter in May of 2014 so his foster home is the only one he’s ever known. However, he’s had the opportunity to meet many humans who have visited his foster mom over the years and does warm up to those he senses are of a kindred nature. He will occasionally show off his superior jumping skills if they’re willing to engage in some feather stick play. He also gets a kick out of laser pointers and the ZoomO disc launcher. Huckle can actually catch the disks in his mouth or paws!

Logan, Huckle’s brother, is not as outgoing and usually lets his brother take the lead in most adventures together. While they don’t need to be adopted together, we have a strong sense that if they were they’d both blossom and let more of their personalities shine through.
