Say Bon Jour to Henri Hubert! While his color suggests Russian Blue this one-eyed charmer leans French – perhaps long lost Chartreux relatives. His coat is more plush than sleek. But all of that is just dressing to his wonderful personality. Henri is all about the cuddles. And, loves to play. He works with your schedule. Ready to play laser pointer? Terrific! Ready to Netflix and chill? Yes, please! A touch shy to meet new people at first … it is easily overcome with some welcomed treats and kind hands.
Henri and his family were welcomed into Kitty Devore Rescue foster care in July of 2018 when he was just a month and a half old. He was born with an eye issue that eventually required surgery to remove and close the socket – but that hasn’t changed his personality or his ability to charm those around him a single bit. We call one-eyed kitties Winky Kitties; forever conveying they’ve got a special secret just between the two of you.
He has a brother, Peyton P’Nut, with whom he loves to wrestle and chase. However, they do not have to be adopted together. Henri would be fine as a one and only kitty as long as he gets his snuggle time! He could also join a fur kid household as he lives with several foster kitties and a medium-sized well-mannered foster dog.
