Heathrow was rescued from Devore Shelter in July 2018. He’s a mature, gentle kitty who is past the wild kitty stage of his life. He is content to lounge around all day, eating lots of yummy food, being petted and loved, and playing with and sleeping on a pile of catnip toys.
Heathrow shares his foster home with several other kitties and gets along well with everyone – so much so that he loves to give them all head-butts and head-licks – his foster mom included! Unlike many kitties, Heathrow LOVES to be picked up and held! He has not been around kids or dogs, but he is so easy-going and has never shown any signs of aggression or displeasure, so he would probably be ok in a home with dogs and/or kids, too.
This amazing guy loves to talk and talk and talk!! He most likely has some Siamese in him, as do many black kitties. He has a whole “vocabulary” of noises and will carry on lengthy conversations with you.
Heathrow tested positive for FIV. This just means that his immune system is compromised, but he should live a long, happy life as long as he has a healthy diet and routine veterinary care.
Heathrow was adopted January 24, 2020!
