Gabrielle’s chocolate capped nose is only the tip of her sweetness. Admitted to Devore Shelter alone, frightened and with eyes sealed shut with infection, she was rescued by the Kitty Devore Rescue team in early June of 2019 when she was just a 2-month-old baby. She was nursed back to health and now, all she wants in life is to be loved, pet and cuddled. She’ll purr her appreciation with true sincerity before falling into a peaceful, untroubled sleep.
But, like all happy, healthy kitties, Gabrielle also loves to play! Her foster home has welcomed many kitties of all ages and she’s found many new playmates. In fact, her very best friend is another orphaned baby named Rachel. Their foster mom believes they just might be kindred spirits as they have both experienced the loss of their feline mothers and have found much comfort together with their human foster momma instead. They’ve also been taken in by a kitty mom with three kittens around their age who has taught them both how to “cat” properly. Still, Gabrielle stands out among all the kittens as the cuddler, responds to her name, and is the first to try new things. Her looks, too, are eye-catching. Maybe a touch of Abyssinian?
Gabrielle was adopted January 25, 2020!
