Bonjour! Meet Françoise! This beautiful, dilute ginger, tuxie boy was rescued from Devore Shelter with his momma, Veronique, and three siblings – Alix, Daisi and Giselle – in September of 2016, when he was just 2 months old. He has grown into a big kitty with super soft fur and is the gentle giant of his foster home.
Frenchy, his foster mom’s nickname for him, is kind of a shy guy and takes his time to get to know and trust newcomers, both human and feline. Once he trusts you though, he loves belly rubs, butt scratches, and to snuggle by you in bed when all is quiet and calm in the house. He gets along well with other kitties and enjoys their company, but can be easily overwhelmed by high energy kittens and alpha adults. That being said, Francoise also enjoys wand toys and chasing the laser light! He tolerates the Corgi in his foster home as long as she stays calm, so he may adjust to a home with older/calmer, cat-friendly dogs. He would do best with a patient adopter whose home is low energy, on the quiet side, and who can devote the time to gain his trust. Once he does, you will be rewarded with a sweet and gentle companion!
