Fluffy was born in Kitty Devore Rescue foster care all the way back in March of 2012. His mother, Marge, was pregnant when we rescued her from the shelter and, once safe, gave birth to a litter of 6 kittens. The following year, Fluffy was adopted and his new family loved him very much. However, in July of 2016, his family fell on hard times and, rather than contacting us, they surrendered him to their local shelter.
Fortunately, our policy is to microchip all our foster kitties and the shelter called us to let us know he was there – along with another kitty that had belonged to the family who was not one of our former foster kitties. Well, we couldn’t take one and leave the other behind so we coordinated a re-rescue for both of them! Fluffy has since been cared for in our foster care program, enjoying life as a KD foster kid again and patiently awaiting his new forever family.
Fluffy is a joy, plain and simple. He’s good natured, good spirited and amazingly affectionate. He loves children and enjoys the company of other cats. He’s not as crazy and all over the place as he once was as a kitten. He’s mellowed out some – but he’s still curious, playful and only occasionally mischievous. He’s a happy, healthy boy with a lot of love to give to a person or family who has a special place for him in their hearts and home.
Fluffy was adopted February 5, 2018!
