Evie was adopted Sunday, January 2, 2022!
Meet Evie! This curious little lady may resemble that neighbor who knows all the neighborhood business, the gossip, the scandals. She was only a year and a half old when she and her kittens were rescued from Devore Shelter in May of 2021, so she’s not a nosy old lady. She’s just curious by nature and loves to be involved in everything going on in her midst. She even has a habit of trying to take things out of your hands as you walk by.
Sadly, although she had three kittens when rescued, only her son Big Mike thrived. And now that he’s old enough to be adopted, she’s happy to turn her attention back to her own care.
Evie has her daily grooming regimen that she follows without fail, sometimes many times a day, to ensure her coat is shiny and soft. She’s a friendly girl and does get along well with other kitties. She does have a slight overbite that’s rather endearing. When she gazes up at you, you can easily see her teeny, tiny bottom teeth. This gives the distinct impression that she’s smiling at you. And smiling, she is because Evie does crave human attention and affection. If you don’t offer it to her willingly, she’ll head-butt you to remind you she’s due for some love-time.
Evie would be a fabulous addition to any family or for someone looking for a kitty companion to dote on and who will reciprocate love and affection in turn. If Evie sounds like the perfect kitty for you, fill out an adoption application to make her your very own today!
