Einstein was adopted June 3, 2020!
I don’t like to talk about myself, because I’m a very shy, gentle guy. I’ve never scratched, I don’t bite, and I rarely talk. Your friends may never see me, since I like to spend time with my own humans. A calm quiet home without too much activity would be ideal, hopefully with my sister Peaches or solo at first. Maybe after I know you I would be okay with another kitty or dog, but first, I need to feel extra safe and secure…security is as important to me as love, in fact, if not more important. You might even know some people like that. My foster mom loves me so much, and tells me we are looking for a very special forever parent who is willing to provide a safe quiet space and endure a longer-than-average acclimation period, while not expecting too much love from me at first. I know it seems like a lot to ask, but once you get to know the real ME, I’ll give you sweet blinky eyes, play (I love it when someone pulls out straws or wand toys), stretch out on the cat tree, come for head pets and butt scratches, and lay in your lap. Though I know I display an abundance of caution before you’ll see any of this, it makes me sad that many people don’t understand this about me. I’m a great kitty, I’m just not a “light switch kitty” like some are. I’ll give you love in spades once I know you won’t leave me. I may not be perfect for everyone, but I know I’m perfect for someone. Are you my someone?
