Saved at the last minute from being put down at a high-kill shelter simply because it was the day before a holiday—petite and soft Dakoda is a very smart tortie girl. Her fur is super soft and a bit longer on her belly. She loves to play with toys but is also very content to sleep on a cat tree, the bed, or your pillow, AKA her pillow—she is a tortie after all.
Dakoda enjoys the company of other calm cats and has helped socialize other foster kittens, but she does like to have her space and will let them know. Dakoda would also be fine as an only cat with a human or more all to herself. Her large wise eyes are very expressive. If you are looking for a young cat that is mature for her years Dakoda is your girl. She will patiently wait for you to return home from work for her dinner and petting…snoozing away the hours you are gone on a cat bed or in a sunny spot. She is active and enjoys interactive play (tossing toys for her, laser pointer) but is a very good girl that causes her foster mom no trouble at all. Dakoda is also quick to give you her lovely purr. She wants you to know how much she appreciates being loved.
