Harmonica and her 6 kittens were rescued from Devore Shelter on September 27, 2017. This lovely 2 year old black beauty was one of the best momma kitties a kitten could ever hope to have. She loved each one of her babies and cared for them well.
Harmonica is now spayed. No more kittens for her! After months of recovery from the shelter experience and active care of her kittens, she’s ready for a forever home of her own with a person or family who will love her just as much as she loves those around her. Although she doted on her kittens and grudgingly tolerates other kitties in her foster home, she would be happiest in a home without other animals. She is still learning how to play appropriately and does occasionally get overwhelmed. She needs a patient and understanding new parent who will give her space when necessary.
That said, when this special lady wants affection, she’ll extend her paws up toward to to let you know it’s time to pet her. She loves to be held and enjoys having her face rubbed and scratched. Like most black cats, she’s very intelligent and clever. She’s a quick learner and knows how to charm you into giving her plenty of treats. It’s believed that most black cats have a touch of Siamese in them and, because of this, they exhibit certain Siamese traits – like being very talkative! In this regard, Harmonica doesn’t disappoint. She’s quite the conversationalist!
Harmonica was adopted on October 14, 2018!
