Catheryn, from the Greek meaning “pure” – and that’s what this gorgeous gray girl is – pure of mind, pure of heart, pure of soul.
She was rescued from Devore shelter in June of 2018, estimated at the time to be about a year old. How she found herself there, we don’t know. What we do know is that, had she not been saved, the world would have been deprived of one of the most phenomenal kitties ever! Yes, we know this is a big claim – but it’s the pure and honest truth! Catheryn is nothing short of the world’s most wonderful kitty. Why? Well…
Catheryn loves people; really, truly loves them. She follows her foster mom around the house all day long. Sitting down? Catheryn will take the opportunity to sit in your lap. Sleeping? Catheryn will keep you company and nap with you. She’s small and dainty but don’t let her size fool you. Her confidence level is a solid 100%. She gets along with just about everyone she meets – human, canine, feline. When her foster momma came home with tiny little orphaned bottle babies, Catheryn decided they were hers – even to the point of getting in scuffles with her foster brother – a pit bull named Eli (who also decided he wanted to be their momma, too!). She certainly doesn’t go out of her way to pick fights but she won’t back down from one either – especially if she knows her conviction is right and true.
Catheryn was adopted December 12, 2018!
