Hi! My name is Cassiopeia, but you can call me Cassie. I was named after the “seated queen” constellation in the night sky. Like my namesake, I am definitely a queen! I was rescued from Devore Shelter in August 2017 along with my three siblings when we were only 4 months old. We’re so grateful to be out of there and free to find our forever homes!
I am a beautiful long-haired orange girl. Did you know that orange female cats are relatively uncommon? Only about 25 percent of orangies are female! So that means I’m extra special!
I am a chatty girl who loves to be the center of attention. I will sit next to you and meow until you invite me to cuddle. I am super sweet and affectionate, which I will prove to you by showering you with kisses. Nose kisses are my absolute favorite. I also love to play and wrestle with my tortie sister, Lyra. Being a kitten is so much fun! I love to learn and play with new types of fun toys! I also can be pretty adventurous- I like to climb to the top of the cat tree so I can survey the landscape (i.e. my kingdom). Nothing fazes me! I also have amazingly soft fur and a gorgeous fluffy tail; I spend lots of time grooming myself so I can always look my best.
