In addition to rescuing kitties from Devore, sometimes our foster parents cross paths with homeless kitties in need. One such kitty was Fonzie’s momma. The daughter of our member, Dawn, brought her home and it was evident that she was expecting! She gave birth in early May, 2017, not long after her arrival. Thankfully, Butterscotch has never experienced the inside of Devore Shelter. He’s grown up safe, loved and well cared for in a foster home since birth.
Butterscotch is just like his name suggests – he’s sweet and smooth like butter, just like the candy. Like most orange tabbies, he loves attention, is extremely good natured, confident and has an ease with other kitties, dogs, kids – well, just about anyone and everyone! Butterscotch is quite playful. He won’t consider any potential adopter until he can be assured they’ll invest in a red dot laser toy. It’s a must!
Butterscotch was adopted November 9, 2018!
