In May 2018, three little orphaned 3 week old kittens were about to be surrendered to the shelter. Being underage and without their mom, the shelter would have euthanized them. But thanks to a network of rescuers, Avalyn, Emmerson and Harloh were saved just in the nick of time!
They weren’t quite ready for solid food so needed to be bottle fed for a week or so. We’re pleased to say all three siblings thrived in their foster home and now, after undergoing all their vetting procedures, are ready to be adopted by their new person or family.
Avalyn is always looking for someone to cuddle up with. While small, she will not be pushed around by her bigger brother and sister. She’s very gentle and would rather cuddle than play, but she is not shy at all. She gets along great with cats and dogs as well as kids.
Avalyn and her sister, Emmerson, were adopted together on September 20, 2018!
