Ashling was rescued from Devore Shelter by the Kitty Devore Rescue Team in July of 2018. At the time, she and her siblings were just a mere 2 months old. As is often the case with so many rescued kitties who have spent time at the shelter, she and her siblings developed kitty colds and needed a lot of TLC combined with medical care to restore their health. But recover, they did – and now this dreamy little dancer leaps, frolics and lives each day with total abandon and joy.
Petite Ashling, whose name means “dream” in Irish, has the cutest little ballerina stance. She walks with a uniquely adorable stride. She delights in playing with toys as well as other kitties – especially her brother Cashel and sister Caron. Even though Cashel is quite large, petite Ashling can hold her own! Yet, she’s also completely content to entertain herself simply by languidly rolling around on the couch. Raised in a foster home with other kitties, she’s incredibly outgoing and makes friends easily. She also lives with a medium sized foster dog and is fond of her company as well. In fact, sometimes her canine pal uses her as his pillow! She doesn’t mind one bit. When she’s decided she’s done with playing for the day, she’ll seek out her humans for cuddles and affection.
