Archee was adopted November 30, 2020!
Archee is fostered by one of our amazing foster moms in Seattle, WA. He is only available to adopt to WA residents.
Archee was rescued from the Devore shelter as a cute little kitten in 2014. He was quickly adopted and for years he believed he was living in his forever home.
Sadly, he was mistaken. Through no fault of his own, he was returned to his foster mom in 2019 and has understandably had a rough time accepting his new reality. His lack of confidence about the future is heartbreakingly obvious. “What happened to my old family? Will I have to leave this place too?” On top of all his insecurity, he has early stage kidney disease. There’s no sugarcoating here; Archee’s a project cat for sure. But, if you have the patience and the kindness to work with him to overcome his fear and sadness, you’ll receive his loyalty and love back many times over. In his past year back in foster care, he’s relaxed enough to allow petting and even belly rubs.
There’s still time for Archee to have a great life. Will you be the one who gives him the opportunity? If you’re that special person, apply to adopt this wonderful boy today.
