Meet Wellesley! This stunning little Bombay mix was rescued from Devore Shelter back in August of 2014 and, at the time, was estimated to be about 2 years old. Welles, as her foster mom calls her, was also pregnant and gave birth to six adorable kittens but it wasn’t until all her kids were adopted that she began to remember how to be a fun-loving kitten, herself. In fact, she can be quite feisty and playful but vocal when something isn’t to her liking.
Wellesley gravitates toward humans she knows she can sit with, lay on and who will pet her. She an accomplished napper and can often be found dreaming of kitty treats on couches and cat trees but, most of all, she finds sleeping on the bed her people to be especially pleasant. While she doesn’t mind the company of other kitties or the resident foster dog, she’s not a big fan of having her personal space encroached upon or hustling, bustling environments. A quiet home would be best suited for this contemplative girl. She would probably do best in a home with adults only rather than those with young children.
