In May, 2018, three little orphaned 3 week old kittens were about to be surrendered to the shelter. Being underage and without their mom, the shelter would have euthanized them. Babine was rescued from Devore Shelter in June of 2018 when she was about 6 months old. She has an unusual condition called unilateral microphthalmia. This is a congenital issue where one eye is anatomically smaller than the other. As a result of this condition, she only has vision in her larger eye - but that doesn’t slow this incredibly affectionate and outgoing girl down one … [Read more...]

Rebekah was rescued from Devore Shelter in June of 2018 along with her two 8 week old daughters, Minuette and Charlene. She and her little girls were so happy to be rescued and settled in well in the safety and security of their foster home. Suni was rescued from Devore Shelter in July of 2013 along with her two sisters and brother. Each kitten was taken into Kitty Devore foster care and found adoptive homes not long thereafter.
