Thank you for your interest in becoming a Rescue Partner with the Kitty Devore Rescue Network!
Upon receipt of your completed application, it will be reviewed and you will be notified of approval.
If approved, you will be invited onto the Kitty Devore closed Facebook group list and introduced to the entire KD team. The Kitty Devore Network group list is comprised of the two KD administrators – Renée Mc Elwee and Lauren Brandt, the KD Board of Officers, members of the network who specialize in specific areas of the Rescue Team, Rehabilitation Team, Rehoming Team and Fundraising Team, heads of rescue representing each rescue partner rescue group we work in tandem with, foster guardians and adopters who enjoyed their experience adopting through KD that they wanted to become members to do more to help assist the cats of Devore.
For our rescue partners, this is not mandatory – but it does make coordination for rescues a little easier. The KD group list is where we conduct our rescue effort coordination and KD business. The KD team has a very strong family vibe. Everyone is extremely friendly, funny but also knowledgeable when it comes to anything related to caring for cats. We also ride the ups and down of day to day rescue work together so there is a strong sense of cohesion as we all share a common mission and purpose. However, we do understand that each rescue group does have much of their own business to attend to and that this can often be quite a lot of work – and so, for this reason, it is not required that rescue partners be members of KD on the network as it could prove to be distracting to their own rescue group endeavors… but we DO welcome rescue partners onto the network and are always happy to have them there with us.
Please read each item in the rescue agreement carefully before initialing. As a KD rescue partner guardian, you will be expected to honor and adhere to each item of the agreement and, likewise, know that we will also honor this agreement and our commitment to you.
You may also request an adoption application to be e-mailed to you if you prefer not to complete the online application.
