Misha is a gentle calico beauty who has overcome some challenges in her life thus far. She found herself admitted to Devore shelter in Spring of 2018 when she was about 4 years old. She belonged to someone once and then, for whatever reason, they abandoned her when she needed them the most. You see, Misha was not only concerned for her own future and fate. She was expecting and was also worried her little ones who had yet to arrive. Mercifully, she was rescued and gave birth to her babies in the safety and security of her foster home.
However, when her six beautiful babies were nearly 8 weeks old, they were hit with a feline virus that often proves fatal for kittens. Despite the best veterinary care, only one of Misha’s kittens survived. So it’s understandable that she’s a bit wary, shy and takes her time developing trust. She’s been let down by life before. Yet, once you gain her trust through patience and understanding, she’s happy to be pet, will purr and make biscuits – not to mention that she’d be a stunning addition to any comfy piece of furniture. Misha does get along well with other kitties. She’ll romp and play with the most spirited of them.
Misha was adopted April 20, 2019!
